Winds of Joy
Now that you have reserved a Winds of Joy program in Sydney you need to read and complete the following documentation to complete your booking.
1. Risk Management Plan (This document must be printed, completed and returned to our office for all reserved SWD sails to complete the booking process at least 2 weeks prior to sail)

FAQ's
How many people can come on one sail?
The boat SWD uses for its sailing programs allows a maximum of 15 guests on board which includes up to 3 wheelchairs and the carers required supervising the activity. We do not sail with less than 10 quests
How much does the program cost?
The program is free as we rely solely on donations
Where do we meet?
An SWD crew member will meet your group at the entrance to the Cruising Yacht Club and direct the group to the boat
Are there toilet's on board the boat?
Due to the severe limitations regarding the use of the boat’s toilet, all necessary toileting should be undertaken at the Club prior to joining the boat
Is there parking available?
There is some on-street parking on New Beach Road, but this cannot be guaranteed. Similarly, there is limited disabled car parking outside the club
What do we wear?
Guests should wear warm casual clothing and white/light soled shoes (no black soled shoes allowed on board) and should bring a spray jacket/plastic poncho, wide-brimmed sun hat with chin strap and sunscreen
Can we bring food and drink on board?
There is no food to be consumed on the boat, but water in plastic bottles only is advisable
What happens if it rains?
Your duty skipper will contact your nominated representative if they have any concerns over the sailing conditions
Who do we contact on the day if we need to?
Contact your duty skipper with the number you have been provided with
Does SWD have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes we do
