11:00am – Midday: Registrations at the CYCA,
1 New Beach Rd, Darling Point

Midday - 1:00pm: Lunch aboard yachts

1:00pm - 1:45pm: Basic sailing training / practice

2:00pm: Race start

4:00pm - 5:00pm: Yachts return to the CYCA, time to freshen up before being transported to the after party

5:00pm: After party at the Opera Point Marquee, Sydney Opera House with premium drinks & canapes

6:00pm: Speeches & awards presentation

7:30pm: Secret musical act performance

9:00pm: After party finish

The Yachts

30 - 40 corporate teams will compete in the SWD Annual Charity Regatta on Sydney Harbour.

All participating yachts have been donated for the day by local Sydney owners, who will also provide a skipper and crew to help the corporate team on their yacht for the day.

Yachts include a number of notable 40 - 50 footers, which will take teams of 8 corporate sailors plus crew. There are also a few notable 50 - 60 footers including Ragamuffin, Vanguard and Volvo 60 that will take teams of 10 corporate sailors plus crew.

Australian sporting and entertainment celebrities will join corporate teams for the day and a dedicated SWD yacht will showcase the capabilities of the disabled community on the water.

Pre-Race

Registrations will occur at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) from 11am where teams will meet their skipper and crew for the day and board their yacht.

Prior to the race commencing, guests will enjoy a gourmet lunch on board their yacht on Sydney Harbour.

Under the guidance of their skipper, guests will then have an hour to familiarise themselves with the boat, learn fundamental sailing principle and boat safety before starting the race.

The Race

The race will start at 2pm in front of the Sydney Opera House, the location of our post-race cocktail party, and head out towards the Heads / Manly before heading back to the finish line in front of the Sydney Opera House between 4pm - 5pm.

Post-Race
