On Friday 1 March 2013 we are hosting our inaugural annual charity regatta on Sydney Harbour with a post race celebration at the Sydney Opera House.
The purpose of our regatta is to raise awareness and funds for us to continue delivering life changing experiences to people with disabilities.
We have over 35 of Sydney’s finest yachts that have been generously donated by their owners for us to use for the day. Each yacht includes a skipper and crew to help corporate teams during the race so no previous sailing experience is required.
Our regatta provides a unique opportunity for our corporate partners and guests to maximise their relationships with their current and potential clients, colleagues and friends and gives them the opportunity to network with over 350 of our other partners, guests and celebrity sailors.
It’s an opportunity for corporations to showcase their social responsibility by supporting SWD and the ongoing development of our programs and use sailing as a team building, client appreciation, business development or staff incentive activity.
